Founded in 1952, the University of Science and Technology Beijing is one of the most influential key national universities sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Education. The School of Foreign Studies (SFS) was incorporated into the overview of USTB in 2004, and since then has continued to grow and develop. Job Positions:
- Instructor of English language/culture courses for university students
- Associated professor/Professor in linguisitics/literature
Responsibilities:
- 12-14 hours weekly teaching (for instructor), depending on the nature of courses;
- 8-10 hours weekly teaching with research (for associated professor/professor)
- Designing week-by-week course syllabus in line with course objectives;
- Marking assignments and assessing students as required;
- Participating in extracurricular English activities.
Qualifications:
- Native speakers of English;
- Master degree or above; preferably in English, Language, Education, Linguistics or Humanities. Other backgrounds welcomed.
- 2+ years’ full time teaching experience (preferrably at universities or secondary schools, teaching language/culture related courses);
- TESOL, TEFL or CELTA certificate with at least 120 hours or valid teaching certificate;

- Salary ranging between 12000 – 15000 RMB per month (before tax), dependent on qualifications and experience. Negotiable with highly qualified ones.
