- Foreign Language Education: Specializing in language acquisition, second language pedagogy, and language teaching methodology.
- Linguistics: Experts in applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, computational linguistics, and cognitive linguistics.

- AI and Multilingualism: Researching the application of AI in multilingual and cross-cultural contexts, including multilingual machine translation, sentiment analysis, and global communication systems.
- Cross-Cultural Communication & AI: Studying the role of AI in cross-cultural communication, with an emphasis on how AI tools can facilitate or challenge intercultural dialogue and understanding.
- Speech and Voice Technologies: Expertise in speech synthesis, speech-to-text, and voice assistant technologies in multiple languages, with an emphasis on enhancing accessibility and communication across languages and cultures.
Qualifications
- Education: A Ph.D. in Foreign Language and Literature, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field.
- Research Excellence: A demonstrated record of high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Teaching Ability: Strong teaching portfolio with experience in delivering undergraduate and graduate-level courses. Experience with innovative teaching methods or technology-enhanced learning is an asset.
- Language Proficiency: High proficiency in at least one foreign language (English, Japanese, Russian, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Spanish, Korean, etc.), with additional languages being a plus.
- International Experience: Overseas study or research experience is highly desirable.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment and contribute to the development of research initiatives and curriculum design.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching: Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the designated area of expertise.
- Research: Conduct independent research in foreign languages, linguistics, literature, and/or cultural studies. Publish research findings in high-impact academic journals.
- Academic Collaboration: Participate in academic projects, conferences, and collaborations with national and international scholars.
- Supervision: Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students and contribute to academic mentoring and development.
