I. Introduction to CNU
The University has a comprehensive disciplinary construction system that incorporates 12 disciplines, including philosophy, law, economics, education, literature, science, and interdisciplinary studies. It offers 4 first-class doctoral programs, 24 first-class master’s degree programs, 20 professional master’s degree programs, and 74 undergraduate programs. In addition to 1 first-class discipline of municipal level, 18 key disciplines according to the 14th Five-Year Plan, and 4 “AI+” discipline clusters, the University has 6 preponderant discipline clusters, including mathematics and information science, and teacher education, with 4 disciplines ranked among the world top 1% according to the ESI rating. It also has 3 projects included in the first batch of national-level new liberal arts research and practical reform projects.
Over the past decade, the University has been approved for more than 470 national-level projects, including 21 national major and key projects, having published more than 3,900 high-quality research papers, including more than 70 ESI hot papers and highly cited papers, and over 270 high-level monographs, and received over 110 provincial and national research awards, including the second prize of the National Natural Science Award and the first prize of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award. It has 59 research platforms of provincial or national level, including one of the first National Applied Mathematics Centers and the “111 Plan” Base for Innovation in Optimization and Control Disciplines, as well as 28 municipal-level research teams, providing a strong support for talent gathering.
Currently, Chongqing is further implementing the prioritized strategy of technological innovation and talent-driven city development, advancing integrated reforms in education, science, and talent systems, and accelerating the construction of a talent hub and innovation center in the western region. II. Job Requirements and Employee Benefits
② Level 2
Domestic and foreign leading talents who are domestic academic leaders, have abilities and experience in leading high-level scientific research teams, are able to lead respective disciplines to reach or maintain domestically advanced level, and, as a rule, have an age of no more than 55 years old.
③ Level 3
National-level young talents and domestic or foreign outstanding talents who have independent scientific research ability and stable research orientations, and possess the potential to become academic leaders in relevant fields, and, as a rule, have an age of no more than 45 years old (natural sciences) or 50 years old (humanities & social sciences).
④ Level 4
Provincial or ministerial-level talents and domestic or foreign outstanding talents who have relatively high academic reputation in respective fields of the discipline, and, as a rule, have an age of no more than 45 years old (natural sciences) or 50 years old (humanities & social sciences).
⑤ Level 5
High-level technicians who hold doctoral degrees and senior professional titles, possess great potential for innovative development, and, as a rule, have an age of no more than 40 years old (natural sciences) or 45 years old (humanities & social sciences).

④In case of teams, high-end talents and special talents in urgent need for the development of the University, subject to determination on a case-to-case basis. A combination of full-time employment and flexible introduction is applied. For talents employed by flexible introduction, work and tasks during the employment term will be agreed upon with the university through negotiation;
⑤ Talents subject to the preferential policy of Chongqing Municipality for talent introduction are also entitled to, aside from those offered by the University, additional benefits from the Municipal People’s Government, provided applications are submitted by the University to competent department for review and approval.
