Role: English Language Instructor

Location: Nanshan, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in IELTS English, Business English, Cross-Cultural Communication, and related academic subjects, maintaining a minimum of 12 teaching hours per week.
• Mentor students participating in academic competitions.
• Contribute to collaborative projects, curriculum development, and innovative teaching methods alongside faculty and staff.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by the institution.

Candidate Profile:

• Native English proficiency is essential, with preference given to applicants from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
• A bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite; advanced degrees (master’s or doctorate) are highly desirable.
• A current TEFL or TESOL certification is mandatory.
• Prior experience teaching IELTS or TOEFL is a significant advantage, as is the willingness to instruct introductory courses in fields such as economics, management, medicine, architecture, engineering, and computer science.
• Candidates must comply with Chinese laws and institutional regulations, demonstrate respect for Chinese culture and customs, and refrain from any activities deemed anti-China or unauthorized religious proselytizing.
• Applicants should possess a clean criminal record and be free of legal entanglements.
• Candidates should be in good health, generally under 55 years of age, and hold a valid work visa with at least six months remaining.
• A dedicated and professional approach to teaching, with a commitment to achieving positive student outcomes, is expected.
