III. Position Responsibilities

(I) Chair Professor

• 1. Precisely predicts the development direction of the discipline, proposes strategic, forward-looking, and innovative research concepts, promotes or leads the relevant discipline towards and even beyond the world-class level.
• 2. Committed to improving the overall quality and research level of the faculty, actively cultivate and help recruit outstanding scholars.

(II) Distinguished Professor

• 1. Proficient in teaching and education, with great experience or contributions in   top-quality, innovative talents cultivation, able to complete various teaching tasks    stipulated by the university and school, conducts in-depth education research and    reform, and achieves outstanding results.
• 2. Has an independent research direction that meets the developmental needs of     the discipline, capable of leading the discipline to serve the major strategies of  nation’s economic and social development, and can conduct academic research at        an advanced level.
• 3. Plays an important role in discipline construction, talent recruitment, and    international exchange and cooperation.

(III) Distinguished Associate Professor

• 1. Possesses a high level of teaching proficiency, with the experience or capability to nurture top-quality, innovative talents, able to complete various teaching tasks     stipulated by the university and school, engages in education research and reform,  and achieves significant results.
• 2. Undertakes high-level scientific research that aligns with the development needs of the discipline. Demonstrates outstanding performance in relevant fields is widely     recognized by academia nationally and globally.
• 3. Plays an active role in discipline development, talent recruitment, and  international exchange and cooperation.

(IV) Associate Professor and Lecturer

• Competent to independently perform teaching tasks, serves as instructors for  undergraduate or postgraduate education and student cultivation as well,  responsible for teaching core courses in the discipline.

IV. Compensation Package
