We’re currently seeking instructors to fill openings for German and Portuguese language courses. Anhui International Studies University (AISU) sits nestled within the picturesque Zipengshan Scenic Area, a 4A-rated national tourist spot located in Feixi County, Hefei, Anhui Province, China. Established in 2002, AISU is a private provincial institution focused on delivering top-tier foreign language and literature programs.
Our undergraduate curriculum spans five academic fields, from the humanities to business, administration, the arts, and technical studies. Among our thirty-eight specialized programs, we boast eleven different foreign language majors, including English, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Thai, German, Russian, French, and Spanish, positioning AISU as the leading university in Anhui for foreign language offerings. Our vibrant campus community comprises 700 faculty and staff, and 14,000 students, all enjoying the beautiful, garden-like setting within the scenic area.
The university’s International Exchange and Cooperation Office handles all international relations, including setting strategic goals for global partnerships, managing international collaborations, hiring international faculty and specialists, and overseeing international student recruitment. Currently, we have ten international educators and experts on staff, hailing from countries like the UK, the US, Australia, Yemen, Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Chile.
We conduct annual recruitment for new international faculty and experts, with applications typically opening in November for positions starting the subsequent September. For the academic year 2025-2026, we are particularly keen to welcome additional English, Portuguese, German and French language instructors to our team.
